Heel even

May 29th, 2009 No comments

Van liefde alleen kun je niet leven
maar even

Is het genoeg, het houden van
en dan

Moet er meer zijn dan liefde
de liefste

Zelfs de mooiste en de beste
simpele geste

Houd je niet meer in stand
want

Je zal toch moeten drinken en eten

JUM: Anna

May 19th, 2009 No comments

Finally, the first release of JUM is out the door.

It still lacks some planned features like support for the Microsoft Visual C++ compiler, integrated static analysis of sources and generation of documentation (probably using Doxygen). But although this version is not feature complete, the need to use it (at JVH gaming products B.V.)  required a release to be made available.

It has been released as ‘Anna‘ named after ‘Anna Nicole Smith‘… she surely used to make some men go ‘JUM’  in her glory days.

May 19th, 2009 No comments

As stated before (previous post), the fourth annual ‘SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards‘ are open for nominations (until May 29th, voting starts on June 22nd).

So this is the time to nominate JUM… Not that I really expect anybody to do so, but hey, one can try, not?

The fourth annual ‘SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards‘ are open for nominations (until May 29th, voting starts on June 22nd).
Actually, they’ve been open since may 6th, but I just received an e-mail about it today.

My nominations:

  • CodeLite: a very nice, good looking, light weight, feature rich IDE.
  • WindowsPager: a simple, easy to use virtual desktop tool.
Nominate like I did
CodeLite WindowsPager

Or, make your own nominations today.

R2D2 Translator

For some fun ringtone, try the R2D2 Translator. Not that I have a cell phone (I must be one of the last in The Netherlands) but still, it’s quite fun.

For instance, this is ‘alt0.nl’ in R2D2 language.
